ERIC is supported by the National Library of Education, part of  the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Educational Research and Improvement. The ERIC system home page is maintained at the ACCESS ERIC facility. The database contains more than 850,000 abstracts of documents and journal articles on education research and practice. Although only abstracts are online, ordering the full-text articles can be done through the web site. The site also includes topical links and an “Ask an Eric Expert” feature.
