This page contains links to hundreds of the art museums throughout the world. Only those with a presence on the net can be listed. However, we must confess that our list is probasbly not exhaustive and many art museums may not be included in our list. So if we missed one of your favorites sites, then e-mail us and "WE" will be glad to add it in.

I have alphabetized the list for your convienence however any cataloguing system has it weak points. Some of the sites are museums with works of art, others have information from the museums and still others are dedicated to a specific artist or city. So if your searching for a special artist or museum check under a few possible alpha letters.

A good example is the Archaeological Museum of Bologna, Italy, "WE" has listed them under -A- for Archaeological because that is the name they have listed themselves under. Also "WE" believes as a matter of editorial policy that the WEB is non geographic in nature except where the data requires a phyisical location such as news. Clearly art can be anywhere so long as it is somewhere in cyberspace.
