  • Army Base Repair Organisation
    Engineering service, repair and re-manufacturing organisation offering a worldwide capability to defence, emergency service and other governmental and non-governmental organisations.

  • Computer Emergency Response Team
    Responsible for coordinating the MOD's response to computer security incidents.

    The Defence Academy is to be a national and international centre of excellence, providing civilian and military personnel with a high-quality education, primarily at post-graduate level, and conducting research in fields related to defence.

    A new tri-Service policy, regulation and auditing body that acts as the executive arm of the Defence Aviation Safety Board (DASB).

  • Defence Bills Agency
    Primarily responsible for paying bills submitted to the Ministry of Defence by defence contractors.

  • Defence Estates
    Manages and maintains the MOD's estates in the UK and abroad.

  • Defence Scientific Advisory Council
    Provides independent advice to the Secretary of State for Defence on matters of concern to the Ministry of Defence in the fields of science, engineering and technology.

  • Defence Vetting Agency
    Responsible for carrying out, and maintaining, national security checks on military and civilian staff employed by the MOD, private sector personnel employed on defence related work, and staff in a number of other government departments.

  • Disposal Services Agency
    Supports and advises on the disposal phase of the through life management of equipment within the Department.

  • Supporting Britain's Reservists and Employers (SaBRE)
    Formerly the National Employers' Liaison Committee (NELC). Provides information about Reservists’ Training and Mobilisation commitments and the safeguards that are in place to protect both employers and Reservists’ should conflicts of interest arise.

  • Veterans Agency
    Formerly the War Pensions Agency. Assists all former members of the Armed Forces, their widow(er)s, and dependants. In addition, the Veterans Agency War Pensioners' Welfare Service (WPWS) gives comprehensive advice and support to all war pensioners and war widow(er)s living in the UK and Irish Republic, regardless of whether their query is about a War Disablement Pension//War Widow(er)'s Pension.  Callers to the free Helpline service can obtain information and advice on a wide range of veterans' issues.

  • Warship Support Agency
    Provides logistic support to the Fleet and to other in-service maritime elements of the armed services.
